As the sun slowly sets over Felidae and the old windmill turns gently in the background, one of our young male lions takes a quiet moment to enjoy the golden evening. There is something truly special about watching these peaceful moments after knowing where their journey began. This young boy came to Felidae together with his mom and two sisters after they were born in captivity. Like so many animals we rescue, their future was uncertain from the very beginning. While they were born in an enviro
